Child Development and Early Child Education
Arsenal provides educational opportunities to both graduate and undergraduate students from a number of universities and colleges, offering them both observational and interactive experiences that focus on the structure and content of quality early childhood programming for children and families.
In addition to our general educational opportunites Arsenal, in partnership with Duquesne University, offers Junior and Senior Applied Pyschology students opportunities to learn about child development by observing preschool children. They observe the teaching techniques used with children and learn about intervention strategies. Teachers meet with students to discuss various topics inlcuding separation and developmental stages. Lectures are presented and teachers meet with students for discussion. For more information visit the Duquesne University's Applied Psychology website.
