Parents are our most important partners. It is the philosophy of Arsenal Family & Children's Center that the passionate involvement of an adult is paramount to each child's intellectual, emotional, psychosocial and physical development. It is this belief that has guided the development and implementation of each of our programs.

In addition, Arsenal Family & Children's Center partners with the Pittsburgh Public Schools Early Intervention Program to provide children in our preschool with developmental screenings. When needed, complete evaluations are done and Individualized Education Plans are put into place to meet the special needs (cognitive, physical, language, social and emotional) of each child. Pittsburgh Public Schools' Early Intervention Program provides Arsenal with intinerant teachers, speech therapists and early intervention specialists that work with the children, parents and Arsenal's staff to create the best possible early educatinal experiences for each child.
